The Day we first walked in to Photography I had no idea what we were going to do, well I know that we were going to take pictures, but I didn't know when or what we were going to take photos of. When we first brought in our cameras, we went around the room and took photos of the classroom, there was not many things I could think of. I saw the SHS VIDEO sign on the side of the room, so I thought I would just take a picture of it and see what it looks like, it was "ok-ish". Then when I found out we were using Adobe Lightroom, I was very excited, because I had taken photos before, but I had never edited my photos before, I would just put them on the computer straight from the camera and leave them as is, when I first used Lightroom, it was the best thing ever! (At that point to me). When I found out that if I didn't nail the photo, it wasn't ruined. This was the first photo I had taken and edited in lightroom. So When I took that And edited it I realized the power of lightroom and how I can make My photos look how ever I want them to. After this photo assignment, we did a 25 photo assignment where we took 25 photos of the same thing, and we had to take different angle and different styles of the same object. This is the photo I got out of that. After we did this photo, we were told that we are going to have to take photos from home. Which is when I was going to take photos at home and remember to do them at the right time, because lighting is very important. So here are the first few photos I had taken at home. Then when we had learned about Photoshop, I couldn't believe everything we could do with it, it was amazing, I was really excited to learn about it because, I had seen photo tutorials on how to do types of photos that I really wanted to do, here are some of the first Photoshop photos I had taken. Then after we learned Photoshop, we could use that in our photo assignments that we took at home. On these Photos I chose open assignment, and for my open assignment, I did effects, here are some of the pictures I took for it. What I have learn in Digital Photography was, I learned a lot on how to edit my photos, and I really have gotten into photoshop. I love doing the fine little details to make it look for convincing, but I also know I have along way to go to know more stuff about Photoshop. I have also learned more about Manual setting, and how to capture different styles of photos from the ones I had taken before. I am really glad that I took this class because, learning more about photography will and will continue to improve my video, by knowing more about the manual settings, and knowing the colors and what is appealing.

For this Demo we learned how to capture photos with a blurry background, but the subject in focus by panning the camera with the same speed of the subject, with a slower shutter speed lets the background be moving in the photo, but because you are panning at the same speed it allows tat to happen. What I learned from this was the right shutter speed for this style of photography, because this is not normally what I would shoot.
For this assignment I wanted to do some pictures with photoshop effects, There is a photographer in instagram named, thebrightesthour, who does very cool photoshop photos and I wanted to base my photos off of his photos. I downloaded some brushed and used masks , ad used the liquify filter to achieve these photos. One thing I learned from this assignment is that I should hav thought of more ideas because with all the editing I did of these at home I didn't have 10 I only had 6.
In this Photoshop assignment we were working with layers to make several of the same person in the same picture. One thing I learned in this was that I shouldn't move the tripod or in my case forget to take the background picture. Because on my I forgot to take the background picture, so I tried to take the background picture handheld, which when I lined them up it worked but, had a lot of missing space on the sides, which I had to crop out, which then I had to keep the out of focus the out of focus version of my subject because the layer below it was very messed up looking. For this assignment we worked on taking portraits in different lighting. The first one is in Natural light where we used the window lighting by using a reflector. The second photo was taken in the studio with a 3 point lighting set up with a key light, a fill light, and a hair light behind the backdrop. What I learned from this was, that when taking portraits you want to communicate and make your subject feel comfortable with your presence, when they feel comfortable with you, they don't realize that they have to get pictures taken of them which not many people like.
For this assignment we had to take pictures of animals, and this time I took pictures of my dog Ginger it was raining and she did not like being out in the rain. ISO: 3200 f:4.8 1/800 sec i learned that when taking pictures of animals they don't like to corporate all of the time, and that i should have the auto focus on full time auto focus which makes it easier to get the focus right in photos.
For this assignment we had to take pictures of out side and landscape, I went outside of my neighborhood and took pictures by the park. ISO:200 f9.0 1/320sec What I learned from this photo is when editing my favorite picture I found the dehaze which gives it a really cool look, because my favorite photographer Peter McKinnon edits his photos just like that and his style of photography I love and I learned a bit from the vignetting which makes the eyes go to the center of the photo.
For this assignment I did black and white, my family from Chicago came and we ll went to a apple orchard, so I brought my camera with me.
ISO: 250 f5.6 1/500sec For this assignment we had to take photos of people, I chose 2 of my neighbors, who are brothers, we went to the park by our house. ISO: 800 f5.6 1/800sec What I learned was that, when trying a project that I should do it my style because the is a photographer on instagram called thebrighteshour, who I really like who does pictures of people levitating, and he is really good at it. I was trying to recreate his photos, but I learned that he is much better and just knows how to do it, probably because he has been doing this for a really long time.
For this assignment, we had to use photoshop for the first time by recreating a pop art picture, we had to get a picture and then make it different colors, and add them in the corners.
